Richard Becker, MD

Dr. Richard Becker is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Becker founded the Hudson Valley Cardiology Group in 1984. Frank Dorsa, MD

Dr. Frank Dorsa is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He joined Hudson Valley Cardiology Group in 1992. Dr. Dorsa is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed the Fifth Pathway Program at Mount Sinai and completed his fellowship in Cardiology at New York University Langone Medical Center. He is fluent in both Spanish and Italian. Ricardo Esquitin, MD, MSc

Dr. Ricardo Esquitin is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular imaging. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Esquitin is a graduate of Harvard University and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his residency and Master of Science in Clinical Research at Mount Sinai School of Medicine followed by a cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center-Harvard Medical School. Craig Hametz, MD

Dr. Craig Hametz is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. His specialties include clinical cardiology and non-invasive imaging. He joined Hudson Valley Cardiology Group in 2008. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Hametz is a graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System. Glenn Hamroff, MD

Dr. Glenn Hamroff is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He joined Hudson Valley Cardiology Group in 1997. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Prior to joining NYU Hudson Valley Cardiology, he was an internal medical resident and Chief Resident at Montefiore Medical Center, where he also completed his fellowship. He completed his heart failure fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is a graduate of SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn. Alan Slater, MD

Dr. Alan Slater is board certified in cardiology. He merged his practice with Hudson Valley Cardiology Group in 1997. Dr. Slater is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a graduate of New York University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Slater completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital-Cornell University. He was a Chief Resident at North Shore University Hospital. He completed his cardiology training and interventional training at Yale University. Dr. Slater specializes in non-invasive and invasive cardiology and performs Cardiac Catheterization at the main campus of NYULMC. Howard Tarkin, MD

Dr. Howard Tarkin is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He provides care in all aspects of invasive and non-invasive cardiology.He is also boarded by The International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) and has a strong interest in Pacemakers and Defibrillators. Dr. Tarkin joined Hudson Valley Cardiology Group in 1995. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a graduate of SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn-College of Medicine. Dr. Tarkin completed his Internship and Residency at Montefiore Medical Center and Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Connecticut. He performs Cardiac Catheterization's and implants Pacemakers and Defibrillators at the NYU main campus. Patrick Thomas, MD

Dr. Patrick Thomas is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He joined Hudson Valley Cardiology Group in 2002. Dr. Thomas is the President of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association - Putnam County Division and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is Chief of Cardiology and, beginning in March 2012, will serve as the Chairman-elect of the Department of Medicine at Hudson Valley Hospital. Dr. Thomas graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
